Mark D. Mickleborough

 

Mark devotes his free time to help those who work or volunteer for animal rescue/welfare organizations.  The invaluable information that he provides gives important tips for keeping the organization, board members and volunteers safe and lawfully compliant.

Mark joined the Don Cherry Pet Rescue Foundation to assist and spread the word about the Foundation’s good cause of helping animals that have had a rough start, to turn their life around.

Mark graduated from Princeton University in 1982 and Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1985, and is currently a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Mark has been practicing corporate and commercial law in Toronto’s Financial District for the past 28 years. During such period, Mark has also been a director of various private and public companies including a closed-end investment trust inter-listed on the Toronto and London Stock Exchanges.

He is currently a director of Currency Exchange International, Corp. (CXI), a publicly traded company specializing in providing currency exchange and related products to banks, money service businesses, travel companies, and to clients through its company owned branches and inventory on consignment locations, throughout the United States and Canada.  CXI’s common shares are listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “CXI”.

Mark wants to do his part to helps animals in need.
